Store offers dream wedding on a budget
SUPERMARKET giant Asda has called on shoppers to swap expensive wedding planners for a trolley and a well thought-out wedding list.
The store say they can put together a 'dream wedding' for just £1,300, well below the UK average.
Suggestions include a pink George wedding dress for £16, bridesmaid dress for £12, cake for £8.99 and a 9ct gold and diamond wedding ring for less than £60.
Ed Watson, spokesman for Asda, said: 'When it comes to planning and paying for a wedding, we don't all have Posh and Becks' budget and that is why we have pulled together some suggestions for having the best day of your life - but without breaking the bank.'

Professionals team up to launch design business
A NEW wedding design company has launched in London, by professionals determined to make waves in the industry.
Amanda Sherlock and Germaine Giles have set up Giles Sherlock to cater for weddings and corporate events at the luxury end of the market, and will work on contracts both in the UK and abroad.
Amanda was mentored by Siobhan Craven-Robins and after studying with the Association of Bridal Consultants, spent two and a half years working as a planner for Kathryn Lloyd.
During this time she organised Germaine's wedding, and the pair decided to get together to launch their own company.
